1. Region Situation

Leiyang City is a county-level city under Hengyang City, Hunan Province, located in southern Hengyang. It borders Anren County to the northeast, Yongxing County to the southeast and south, Guiyang County to the southwest, faces Changning City across the Chunling River to the west, and borders Hengnan County to the north. Situated on the southern edge of the Hengyang Basin transitioning to the Wuling Mountains, the terrain is relatively complex. It administers 5 townships, 19 towns, and 6 sub-districts, covering a total area of 2,656 square kilometers. The total population in 2016 was 1.1722 million.

2. Project Overview

In November 2018, a local engineering contractor implemented a retrofit for 182 distribution cabinet points across Leiyang City. Aibesi centralized controllers (Model FBC508X) were installed to achieve centralized management and control of all city streetlights.
