1. Region Situation
Aksay Kazakh Autonomous County (Aksay County) is under the jurisdiction of Jiuquan, Gansu Province. It is situated at the convergence point of Gansu, Qinghai, and Xinjiang provinces. It is the only ethnic autonomous county in Gansu with the Kazakh ethnic group as the main body and is one of the three Kazakh autonomous counties in China. The county covers a total area of 31,000 square kilometers with an average altitude of 3,200 meters, governing two townships. It is home to 11 ethnic groups including Kazakh, Han, Hui, Uyghur, Salar, and Tibetan, with a total population of over 10,600 (2014 data), of which over 3,700 are Kazakh (34.8% of the total population). The county has 14.8 million mu of usable grassland, with a normal year carrying capacity of 189,000 sheep units.
2. Project Overview
Aksay County primarily focuses on tourism and smart city development. It is a filming location for the TV series "The Ghost Blows Out the Light," showcasing distinctive northwestern Chinese charm. This project is a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiative. The first phase involved an investment of 30 million RMB, implemented in 2016, achieving single-lamp control for 1,667 streetlights. Most streetlights in the city are "Yulan" ornamental lights, controlled in three groups. Some road sections require audio system control. The landscape lighting utilizes ETW remote controllers, managed uniformly by a department under the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau.
3. Product Application: ETW Remote Controller
